Hey it’s me, Lara! and Welcome to my blog! I’m a style and travel blogger and a visual artist based from the Philippines! Basically this is my platform to be able to share my travels, personal style, my artworks and everything in between! To start, I’d like to share some basic facts about me,
A VISUAL ARTIST
I consider myself as a visual artist. Art has always been a part of me. Ever since I was a kid, I believe I was really artistically inclined. I would look forward to our art classes because its my favorite subject, aside from breaktime of course! And as I grew older, I always had a keen eye when it comes to design and anything aesthetically pleasing. I take a lot of inspiration from the things around me and from artists of different backgrounds.
I am currently taking a Visual Design major to further hone my skills. At the same time, I do side hustles where I express my own style, sell my own designs and do a couple of commissions. I am a calligraphy enthusiast and I love to paint. My favorite medium would be watercolor / gouache. I also do digital design. Most of the time combining traditional and digital work. AE SURVIVOR
I was diagnosed with AutoImmune Encephalitis in 2015. Since then my life turned around like it went back to zero. I had to work myself up and try to cope up with the usual things. It was a tough process but I am so grateful to have the strength and will to carry on. Everyday I am thankful for the opportunities that comes my way, and that I want to live my life to fullest and serve my purpose. Thats why here I am creating content because I want to share my journey with others and hopefully inspire them with my story.
This blog is dedicated in writing content about my style preferences, creative process, adventurous travels and daily grind. I am so excited to share my journey with everyone so I hope you’ll be with me through this and so stay tuned for further posts on related ideas such as travel, fashion, art and lifestyle.
